Joseph is the son of Jimmy and Tammy Boyd. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and received his first AFO’s when he was 1 years old. Now seven, Joseph is very athletic and enjoys playing baseball and PE at his school. He also is a big fan of gospel music and enjoys playing the guitar at his church. Although he is only seven years old, Joseph has many interests and is not letting his physical condition get in the way.
Joseph currently uses bilateral Solid AFOs with a walker. We are about to fit him with Torsion Splints to see if they help his knees from hitting each other while he's walking. He's also a user of the TAOS walker. Joseph always has a positive attitude and is ready to face any challenge that comes his way. There is no stopping Joseph, he is a man on the go.
