When you come in our door, whether you're six months old or 86, you enter an environment that's thoughtfully geared to you - your challenges, your dreams and your goals. You can count on the fact that we're going to fit you with the best prosthetic or orthotic device that technology and expertise can provide. The big difference in getting it at AP&O is how you're treated, how you feel about what you're going through, how your needs are being met and how confident you feel about your progress.

Our driving motivation is to work toward what is best for you, regardless. And what is best may change over time, but it will always be the result of careful evaluation, listening and working with you.

Whether this is your first device or your fifth, we will go through each of the following with you.

Step I - Fact finding.

This critical step involves being interviewed, evaluated and educated so that we can accurately determine what your needs are (physically as well as emotionally) and what you want to achieve.

Step II - Measurements and molds.

A pivotal part in the process of custom fitting you.

Step III - The device.

From this point, we employ the latest and most advanced technologies and resources available to us so that we can provide you with the most effective prosthetic or orthotic device imaginable for your needs.

Step IV - Fitting.

The most exciting time of all is when you are fitted and you begin the next phase of your development.

Step V - Follow-up.

Once your device is complete, a recheck appointment within 90 days will be made to ensure proper fit and function and as part of our ongoing "maintenance", we like to see our customers every 6 months.
