"From the word go I could tell they really wanted to help me"

When I lost my leg, I had no idea where to turn. I assumed the rest of my life would be spent in a wheelchair. After my surgery I found AP&O in the phone book and went to their Athens office and met Jim and Josh. What convinced me to work with them on getting my leg was the honesty in their communication.

I lost my leg due to diabetes and had complications in healing such that it took me a year to get my prosthetic leg. Jim kept telling me it was going to be fine and to be patient. He and Josh helped me keep a positive attitude. After a year, I finally received my leg and that was the day I knew I was going to be alright - just like Jim said I would.

When I was having my second leg made and Jim was asking me about my life and how I was doing, I mentioned to him that I had recently lost my job. He told me he was opening a fabrication facility in his new Monroe office and needed a driver; he hired me right then and there! It gives me great pleasure to work for a company like AP&O.

My journey with AP&O has literally taken me from feeling like I would never walk again, to giving me hope, to helping me be as productive as I was before the surgery.
